# Getting Started with Mekta

Mekta is designed to be the ultimate target for **Agentic UI** and professional **FiveM** modding.

## 1. Prerequisites

- Node.js 18+
- npm 9+

## 2. Setting Up

Install the dependencies:

```bash
npm install
```

## 3. Using the Dashboard

Mekta's interactive dashboard is the best way to manage your project. Run it with:

```bash
node cli/index.js dashboard
```

Within the dashboard, you can:
- **Switch Modes**: Agent, Architect, and Builder modes.
- **Generate Projects**: Select a preset like `Standard Web` or `FiveM UI`.
- **Install Addons**: Add GSAP animations or Next.js integration.

## 4. Building Your First .mek File

Create a file named `hello.mek`:

```xml

  Hello from Mekta!

```

Compile it to React-compatible JavaScript:

```bash
node cli/index.js build hello.mek
```

This will produce `hello.js`, which can be rendered by any React environment or Mekta's built-in SSR server.
